Reason for Giving

Jesus gave us everything on the cross.  As followers of Jesus, we believe that the giving of our lives, our time, our talents, and the possessions that God has blessed us with is a part of worship and discipleship.  On Sunday mornings, offering is taken as a response to God’s Word, a discipline of discipleship. It is a way we acknowledge all that we have comes from God.

We also are aware that not all of us make it to church every Sunday due to traveling, illness, or family emergencies.  We are also aware that we are becoming a paperless society.  

With these things in mind, the session voted to have on-line giving as an option for any who wish to be a part of what God is doing at First Presbyterian Church of Skagway.  We have partnered with PayPal to make this possible.  You can make a one time donation or a recurring donation.  You can use an e-check, debit card, or credit card.
